Agriculture
In October 2011, we witnessed the birth of seven billionth baby and by 2050 we are expected to touch 9 billion. In order to ensure that there is adequate supplies of food, feed and fuel to the mankind, we are forced to address the growing demand of food/feed/fuel fortification. The challenge is to leverage technology and science to produce more with less. Adding to this is the challenge of climate change and pollution. So there a multi-dimentional problem ahead of us to solve.
To address and mitigate some of these challenges we (Geschickten) have developed innovative computational analysis tools and processes that allow us to process immense amounts of public and proprietary data to unearth hidden treasures that will answer some of the intriguing plant genomics questions. Our computational technologies allow us to handle increasing levels of data complexity with great precision, transforming them into meaningful information which can serve as a direct means to develop applications for Crop Enhancement and Development.

What We Do
We partner with Agriculture research institutes and Agriculture companies to offer Crop Enhancement computational technology solutions from Gene discovery to optimization and marker development.
Using our proprietary computational technology tools and processes we offer plant enhancement solutions, which involves working with huge amounts of genomic and other data types (phenotypic and other OMIC data) from different plant species for gene discovery, prioritization of genes linked to a target trait of interest, optimizing gene expression, prediction to confer the required traits, such as yield and tolerance and discovery of molecular markers to enhance plant breeding.
